Word Study Features puzzles and games to help build vocabulary; enables students to earn a diploma from "Vocabulary University."

Spanish Vocabulary Games: Suggests links to many Spanish vocabulary games that teach words related to such categories as animals, people, food, weather, and so more.

Surf Net Kids: Dictionaries: Contains descriptions and links to several online dictionaries for students.

Merriam Webster Word Games and Quizzes: Offers different "Word Game fo the Day" in one of several different puzzle formats and an easy-to-use thesaurus.

Wacky Web Tales: Students complete tales by supplying 10-15 words for various parts of speech (a plural noun, a large number, an adjective, and so on) and publishes these stories.

Acronym Finder: Searches for, expands, and provides meanings for acronyms like NASA and NATO. Creates worksheets when students supply a list of spelling words, and also offers activities with roots and affixes.

SuperKids Vocabulary Builders: Offers six vocabulary games including "Word of the Day," "Hangman," "Hidden Word Puzzles," and "Word Scrambler." Features grade-level puzzles, thematic interactive puzzles, and student-created vocabulary stories.

Games Scrabble, Password, and Pictionary as Vocabulary Tools: Has board games that add interest and challenge to learning.
